  1. I used to hate history until I took David Blight’s Civil War class. He made history come alive! He is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his subject. We Flint Northern Vikings are delighted and proud of this great achievement.

  2. Kudos to You on this lifetime achievement! Your Civil War history class at Flint northern was among my greatest high school memories! On the trip to Gettysburg, you made the Civil War come alive for the students! Thank you for always pushing the envelope, keeping things fun, unorthodox and interesting (and the donuts were great, too!) I am so very happy for you!

  3. Congratulations David! We are so proud of you and all of your accomplishments!! Ethan and Erik send their congratulations too!
    Best Wishes,
