Who Orders a Kohr’s Orange Cream Frozen Custard Cone Dipped in Chocolate?

This guy does.

(I am a Kohr’s purist.  I would never dip an orange cream cone in chocolate).

Here he is hanging out at one of my old stomping grounds: Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

It is also good to see legendary Seaside wheelman Dave Scott in this video.  He was running the twenty-five-cent wheel when I was a kid.  “One win, choice!”

        • It’s a Jersey Shore thing. Kohr Brothers have locations on the boardwalks–Pt. Pleasant, Seaside Heights, Ocean City, and Wildwood. I think there is one in Cape May too. Actually, there are three different “Kohr’s Brothers” custard business. The brothers split-up after the parents died. The one on Seaside Heights (where this video is taken) is different from the one”s in Wildwood and Ocean City. I think they also have a few stories in malls as well.

  1. John: We agree on the important stuff. Dipping a Kohr’s orange cream cone in chocolate is against God’s plan. If this is now a thing, you may need to do a targeted, Jersey summer tour to push back against this scourge.

Key question: why is this even permitted as an option? The customer is not always right.
Where is a purist cone Nazi overseer when you need one? 🙂
