    And you proceed to offer five strawmen which Mr. Shenkman erects so that he might amuse himself knocking them down. The first of these is an opinion and isn’t subject to refutation by historians. Of the other four, you’re not going to find one person in a hundred who ever gave the matter half a minute of thought. ‘Myths’ no one has ever heard told because they’re exist only between the ears of Rick Shenkman. People come to the conclusion that ‘professor’ is a synonym for ‘asshole’ and you put that down to ‘anti-intellectualism’.
