After a fifteen-day summer break it is time to start blogging again. Over the past couple of weeks I was able to spend some time at a family cabin in northern woods of New Hampshire (which included some travel into Quebec), visit family in New Jersey, and take my daughter on a few college visits. It was a relaxing break, but I am glad to get back into the swing of things here at The Way of Improvement Leads Home.
As some of you know, I am on sabbatical during the 2015-2016 academic year. I am working on several projects, which I hope to write about in future posts. I am also looking forward to getting some time to watch my younger daughter’s first season of high school soccer and my older daughter’s final season of high school volleyball.
In a couple of weeks I will begin teaching an online graduate course on colonial North America for the Gilder-Lehrman Institute. I don’t think it is too late to sign-up!
Thanks again for reading!
