Jon Stewart, Sting Honor Springsteen at Kennedy Center

In case you missed it last night, CBS ran the 2009 Kennedy Center Honors from earlier this month. Bruce Springsteen was one of the honorees. Jon Stewart began the tribute to Springsteen with a hilarious and powerful introduction which was followed by performances of Springsteen songs by the likes of Eddie Vedder, Melissa Ethridge, and John Mellencamp. Here is a clip, featuring Stewart’s monologue and Sting’s incredible performance of “The Rising.” Enjoy

  1. Bob: I have to get to the Hall of Fame. I did not know there was so much Springsteen stuff.

I was in Cleveland a few years ago, but did not get the chance to visit the Hall of Fame. Instead I took my kids to the Science Center.
